This wheel-thrown stoneware vessel is defined by hand-cut apertures, through which natural leather strands are threaded and interwoven. The result is a sculptural interplay of hard and soft materials, creating depth, texture, and quiet tension within the clay form.
 
The intertwined leather creates layered textures and a sense of movement, offering playful, whimsical configurations that can be repositioned depending on how and where the piece is displayed.
